Reiki
Reiki is an ancient healing system which was rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui in the 19th century. This is not a religion or a belief system.
The Usui system is the lineage from which I base my teaching and is perfect for those of you who also love crystals. There are three stages to learning Reiki although the third is split into two parts, essentially making it four.
The First Degree training covers 2 days with ongoing support. This consists of four attunements passed via the teacher to the student, which will open and seal the healing channel. This is essentially for self-healing.
The Second Degree is Practitioner Level where the individual receives a set of sacred symbols and just the one attunement placing the symbols in the hands. Plus information and teaching on what being a Practitioner involves.
Third Degree is split into two parts in the way that I teach it. That is Reiki Master Part 1 and Reiki Master Part 2. This enables people to receive the Master Symbol and energy exercises that go with it without becoming a Teacher. Not everyone wants to teach as it is a huge responsibility when done properly.
Part 2 is teaching the student to be a Teacher.
Treatment
This is practical in a safe space where the client remains fully clothed bar shoes and jackets. This is a hands-on treatment that lasts about an hour and is an excellent healing to help combat the stresses of modern day living.
